Designed for Rope Rescue and Rappelling Back in 1983 we designed our Rescue Harness to meet the needs of search and rescue better than a recreational mountaineering harness. The D-ring attachment point made connecting carabiners easy even if hanging within the harness. Extra wide waist and leg loops created more of a work platform than the slim profile of a mountaineering harness. As of late’s harness has waist and leg pads with breathable D3 cloth for greater comfort, a rear waist D-ring for trip restraint and gear loops on each and every side. With more than a quarter-century of use-inspired evolution, our Rescue Harness continues to set the usual for superb comfort and performance. Work Safety The CMC Rescue School offers training classes for work-at-height rope get right of entry to and rope rescue. Some courses may include instruction about proper use of the Rescue Harness or identical harnesses used in rope rigging systems. CMC Rescue School provides training with course work in technical rescue, tower rescue, fire rescue, confined space rescue & entry, trench rescue, emergency building shoring (EBS), rope get right of entry to, rope rigging in addition to custom contract rope rescue and industrial rope get right of entry to courses offering class work for the specific needs within the above disciplines or in search and rescue (SAR), urban search and rescue (USAR), helicopter air operations (heli-ops, helo-ops), swiftwater rescue and tactical maneuvers.
